The last trading session for the year 2023 finished on a brighter note, as the All share index grew by +0.36% to close at 74773.77. Consequently, the All share index appreciated by +45.9% in 2023. Today’s performance was due to positive movement Transcohot (+10.00%), Multiverse (+9.95%), Jberger (+8.04%), Stanbic (+5.53%), Okomuoil (+3.17%), Guiness (+6.45%),GTCO (+1.12%) and Zenithbank (+1.18%) among others. Although market breadth closed in the positive region, Airtel (-0.03%), Nahco (-4.51%), Unilever (-0.34%), Dangsugar (-0.70%), NB (-2.44%), Buafood (-2.77%), Transcorp (-1.59%) and FCMB (-1.33%) finished lower.
Turnover was N12.82bln ( $14.30mln) though dominated by domestic related block trade in Geregu . We anticipate the same trading pattern in the coming session.
