The All share index appreciated by +2.22% to close at 104,674.67points on the back of gains in Dangcem (+9.93%) and Buacement (+2.98%). Other key movers were Oando (+9.96%), Berger (+9.81%), Intbrew (+8.49%), Sterlingng (+6.06%), Nahco (+3.42%), Custodian (+2.97%) and CAP (+ 2.56%). On the contrary, Nestle (-0.91%), Cadbury (-9.80%), Unilever (-4.53%), PZ (-7.36%), FCMB (- 3.60%), Zenithbank (-2.33%), Accesscorp (-2.10%) and UBA (- 1.64%) closed lower.
Turnover was N25.94bln ($28.83mln), supported by block trades in Dangcem, and Buacement . The year to date return on the ASI increased to 39.99%. We anticipate the same trading pattern in the coming session.
