The Nigerian equities market closed lower as the All Share Index dipped by -0.34% to 66,652.17 points. The weak performance was on account negative movements in Conoil (-9.99%), Oando (-9.81%), Berger (-8.63%), Eterna (- 5.06%), Flourmill (-4.37%), Zenithbank (-2.97%), GTCO (-2.93%), Buacement (-1.20%), UBA (-1.71%) and FBNH (-2.42%) among others. On the contrary, Betaglas (+9.85%), Ucap (+5.15%), NB (+3.42%), Wapcor (+1.37%), Glaxosmith (+1.36%), and Unitybnk (+1.00%) closed in the positive region.
Turnover was N4.52bln ( $5.84mln) dominated by trades in Accesscorp, UBA and Zenithbank. We anticipate same trading pattern in the coming session.
