Today, trading activities on the Nigerian equities market closed on a negative note as the All Share Index depreciated by -0.66% to 66,882.64 points. Accesscorp (-9.86%) nosedived as market responded to its earning, while profit taking persisted on Oando (-9.70%). Other notable losers were MTNN (-1.67%), FBNH (-2.37%), Dangsugar (-2.22%), UCAP (-8.33%), Zenithbank (-1.54%) and Afriprud (-1.52%). On the contrary, Custodian (+8.51%), Eterna (+6.20%), UBN (+6.11%), Dangsugar (+3.61%), GTCO (+1.12%), Etranzact (+7.39%) and Wapco (+0.17%) closed in the positive region. Though market breadth closed in the negative region, Flourmill (+4.91%), Wapco (+2.10%) and UBA (+0.29%) recorded positive values.
Turnover was N5.44bln ( $7.05mln) dominated by trades in Accesscorp, UBA and Zenithbank. We anticipate same trading pattern in the coming session.
