The All share index appreciated by +0.18% to close at 102,042.3 points on the back of gains in Geregu (+6.75%), UACN (+6.05%), NB (+2.63%), Fidelitybk (+4.11%), Nahco (+4.35%), Buafoods (+1.05%),Eterna (+3.62%) among others. On the contrary, PZ (-9.87%), Accesscorp (-6.26%), Sterlingng (-3.23%), Transcorp (-2.15%), Oando (-1.85%), Wapco (-1.75%) and UBA (-1.18%) closed in the negative region.
Turnover was N5.12bln ($3.56mln), buoyed by block trades in GTCO, Geregu and Accesscorp. The year to date return on the ASI increased to 36.47%. We anticipate the same trading pattern in the coming session.
