Sustained positive sentiments in the domestic equities market as investors sought for profitable positions amid Q3 earnings and elevated system liquidity. Today’s trading activities closed on a brighter note as the NSE All-Share Index rose by +1.58% to settle at 29,437.60 points . Gains in market heavy weights Neslte (+10.00%), Dangcem (+2.17%), and Total (+5.97%) largely accounted for the broad index performance. Notable, ETI (+7.55%), along with its peers Fbnh (+3.25%), UBA (+2.78%), Fcmb (+9.81%),Stanbic (+1.12%), Fidelitybk (+5.05%) and Zenithbank (+0.23%) advanced. Other key mover were Custodian (+10.00%), Intbrew (+9.84%), Conoil (+9.80%), Flourmill (+6.42%), Ardova (+6.30%) and Guinness (+3.85%) among others.

Turnover was N4.63bn ($12.16m), buoyed by trade in Buacement, Zenithbank and Guaranty. The NSEASI ytd return improved to +9.67%. We expect the market to maintain this trading pattern in the next session.
