The ASI (-0.07%) slipped further today, on account of weakness recorded in Buacement(-1.77%), Betaglas (-9.75%),Uacn (-3.61%), Guinness (-3.41%), Fcmb (-3.03%),Access (-1.78%), Fidelitybk (-1.61%) and UBA (-0.59%). Nevertheless, gains in Mtnn (+0.94%), Jberger (+9.73%) and Fbnh (+1.38%) among others salvaged some valuable points in the day.
Market turnover was N2.65bln ($6.93mln) though buoyed by trades in Mtnn, Guaranty,Fbnh and Zenithbank. Year to date performance moderated to +0.48%. We expect the market to maintain a similar trading pattern in the coming session.
