Institutional Sales Asset Management



Responsible for building and implementing sales strategies aimed at providing investment solutions, acquiring
new business and manage assets for various institutional client segments



  • Drive Sales Strategies – Drive sales strategies and ensure execution in line with organizational targets
  • Business Development – Manage AUM and Revenue growth by leveraging on network and sales strategies for
    business origination.
  • Relationship Management – Develop and retain strategic relationships with key institutional clients; Resolve
    escalated issues through effective interaction with cross-functional teams
  • Performance Management – Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback via informal discussions,
    quarterly/semi-annual performance meetings and the annual review process. Represent staff performance during
    semi-annual and annual evaluation committee review
  • Budget and Cost Management – Collate and supervise annual business budget and ensure cost management
  • Project Monitoring /strategy – Participate in the continuous strategic development of the Institutional Sales
    operating model, tools and resources and help validate proposed initiatives, ideas/plans prior to implementation.
  • Risk Management and Audit – Administration of effective processes in line with Risk framework for the Asset
    Management Business and implement policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Training and Development – Build capacity and encourage professional growth. Monitor employee engagement
    via the identification of training needs to build capabilities.
  • Management Reporting- Provide periodic management report for effective decision making



  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Asset management business in a regional or international context
  • Strong leadership and management abilities; adopt strategic thinking and build a strong team
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with the client organization at decision-making level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Customer focused with strong business origination capabilities
  • Keen understanding of the financial Industry and Markets
  • Solid comprehension of Institutional Asset Management products, including investment management, collective
    schemes and structured product across asset classes.
  • Must understand and comply with the regulations, policies and procedures related to Investment products and
    services, and reinforce possible financial liabilities of transactions properly executed with team
  • Disciplined approach to managing and acting upon key daily reports and performance of the team
  • Strong ability to interpret financial economic data and able to review investment portfolio
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability



  • Bachelors / master’s in Finance, Management or other related field of study
  • Professional Qualification such as CFA or CFP is desirable
